Our Manufacturing

Our Auckland based factory, Ecotech is the only manufacturer in New Zealand with both ISO 14001 and Diamond Enviromark eco certifications. These certifications are your guarantee that our products are made with the utmost care and consideration for the environment.

ISO14001:2004 certification was gained in November 2010. ISO14001 is an internationally recognised standard awarded to organisations that have designed and implemented an effective environmental management system to minimise the potentially negative effects of their operation on the environment.

Enviromark Diamond certification was gained in December 2009. Enviro-Mark is awarded by Landcare Research, a crown institute and New Zealand’s foremost environmental research organisation. Diamond level certification is the highest of 5 levels achieved through the implementation of an internal management and audit programme to correct and drive continual improvement.

In 2011 we gained the Carbon Zero manufacturing certification. A demonstration of our proactive environmental leadership with regard to carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and their impact on climate change.

2010 Gained Kosher manufacturing certification.
Kosher certification typically relates to food which is why our licence agreement specifically relates to our dishwashing products, ensuring there is no contamination of Kosher certified food from our detergents.
